The kids are shown a plain white van. This is Dan's van in which he carries all his magic props says the performer. The white van is passed thru the Drive-Thru Paint Shop. When it comes out the other end it is now painted blue.

The kids realize that all you did was turn the Paint Shop around and they are seeing the opposite side of the van.

The kids are screaming for you to show the other side of the van and when you do it is painted in a rainbow of colors.
